Diego Linn is an undergraduate student pursuing a Computer Science degree at UC Santa Barbara. Diego is interested in how innovations in machine learning can be applied to understanding our vision. He is fascinated by the possible applications of immersive technology and its ability to create positive change. In the Bionic Vision Lab, his goal is to explore how immersive technology, machine learning, and computer science can be combined to improve lives and the understanding of our neural pathways.

In his free time, Diego loves to read fantasy and sci-fi books, write some of his own, and explore Santa Barbara’s gorgeous coastline.
