Alvin Wang is a BS/MS student pursuing a Computer Science degree at UC Santa Barbara. He is especially interested in the fields of machine learning, computer vision, and artificial intelligence regulation. From Fall 2023 until Spring 2024, he was an ERSP Scholar in the lab, where he worked on deep learning-based computer vision algorithms for shadow removal.

In his free time, he enjoys cooking and playing basketball as well as hiking the numerous breathtaking trails Santa Barbara has to offer.
