Understanding the visual system in health and disease is a key issue for neuroscience and neuroengineering applications such as visual prostheses.
Callie Sardina is a first year student pursuing a MS in Computer Science at UCSB. She is interested in machine learning, deep learning, computational vision, and theoretical computer science. She is passionate about employing computer science within the realm of medical sciences to help make a positive impact on people’s well-being.
