Eric Cervantes

Eric Cervantes is an undergraduate student in Biopsychology at UC Santa Barbara, with a minor in Media Arts and Technology. His research interests center on neurobiology, neural circuitry, and understanding how the brain gives rise to perception and behavior.
He is particularly interested in applying neuroscience and emerging technologies to problems that directly affect human health. In the Bionic Vision Lab, he hopes to contribute to research on visual neuroprostheses and sight restoration while developing the research experience needed to pursue graduate study in neuroscience.
