Alyssa Alanis is an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Psychological & Brain Sciences at UC Santa Barbara.
Alyssa is interested in the neurological and cognitive aspects of perception, pharmacological and psychological altered states of consciousness, and neuroimaging. She is passionate about studying the connection between biological vision and perceived experiences, distorted realities, hallucinations, and drug induced altered states of minds in the hopes to help those with hallucination related-disorders.
In her free time Alyssa loves to hike, go on roadtrips, and have movie nights!
