Kha Nguyen is an upcoming third-year transfer student in the Department of Bioengineering at the University of California, San Diego.

As part of the UC Leadership Excellence through Advanced DegreeS (UC LEADS) program, she is working with the Bionic Vision Lab to evaluate and improve existing phosphene models for retinal implants.
